Job summary

Fabcon is hiring for a Permanent/Full Time welding and general construction labor role to support a precast panel erection crew in outdoor environments. The job operates 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with potential for extensive travel and overtime.

Compensation ranges from $27 to $51 per hour, plus safety boot and eyewear reimbursements. Responsibilities include welding, measuring, rigging, and assisting in erecting precast wall panels, while adhering to safety policies and

Qualifications

• Welding experience required; AWS 3G and 4G welding certifications preferred.
• Two or more years of construction or manual labor experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to carry out simple and complex verbal instructions.
• Ability to safely work at heights, including from ladders and aerial work platforms.
• Ability to obtain membership in a local union.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel 50% or more of the time, and work overtime as required.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work well with others and maintain professional conduct.
• Ability to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and general construction labor necessary to erect precast concrete wall panels.
• Complete welding assignments safely and efficiently as part of an erection crew.
• Follow work direction provided by the detail or erection crew foreperson.
• Perform additional construction and field duties as assigned by the foreperson.
• Use materials and supplies efficiently and handle tools and equipment responsibly.
• Follow all established safety policies, procedures, and jobsite requirements.
• Maintain professional conduct and work effectively with crew members and other jobsite personnel.
