Job summary

ValvTechnologies seeks a seasoned supervisor to lead the weld shop, ensuring high production standards, safety, and customer satisfaction. You will oversee scheduling, training, and workflow optimization across shifts.

The role requires hands-on leadership, experience with welding processes, and a track record of improving throughput while maintaining quality and compliance with ISO9001, API, and ASME standards.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical college or equivalent in a welding related field.
• Minimum of 4 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing/production weld shop environment.
• Proficiency in following work and process instructions and interpreting welding procedures.
• Knowledge of QA, ISO9001, API, ANSI, ASME standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assure safe work environment with standards and training.
• Support welding production shifts directly or remotely as needed.
• Coordinate, enforce schedules to ensure on-time, cost-effective production.
• Develop and implement programs and workflows to meet production requirements.
• Supervise and develop staff; create and adhere to weekly production schedules.
• Collaborate with Welding Engineer on process improvements.
• Ensure all QA and customer requirements are satisfied and timely shipping.
