Job summary

Natural Gas Solutions North America Llc is seeking a Welding Engineering Technician / Supervisor to oversee the Fabrications Value Stream, applying expertise in welding, metal forming, machining, and lean principles to drive efficient production.

You will lead a team, develop welding procedures, ensure quality and safety, plan production, maintain equipment, and champion continuous improvement while coordinating with engineering and planning teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience may substitute.
• 5+ years welding engineering and production supervision experience.
• Knowledge of welding processes, materials and equipment.
• Familiarity with AWS/ASME codes.
• Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee welding operations and supervise production workers.
• Develop welding procedures to enhance efficiency, quality and safety.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
• Plan production, scheduling, and coordination with planning teams.
• Maintain and calibrate welding equipment; troubleshoot issues.
• Lead safety training and enforce health and safety protocols.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
• Document welding processes, data and quality metrics.
• Guide and mentor team to achieve production targets.
