Cornerstone Building Brands, a leading exterior building solutions provider, seeks a Production Supervisor in Lexington, TN. You will oversee day-to-day operations of the weld shop, coach and develop a diverse team, and partner with plant leadership to meet safety, quality and production targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; two years leadership in manufacturing preferred; welding experience in MIG (GMAW) environment; ability to supervise, motivate, and train staff.

Responsabilités

• Facilitates manufacture of building products to meet production demands, while ensuring quality, safety, and productivity.
• Manage day-shift weld shop operations, leading and developing a team of welders and ensuring production targets and capacity goals are achieved.
• Collaborates with plant leadership to develop staffing guidelines, optimizing resource utilization while controlling costs.
• Hires, supervises, evaluates, and replaces staff as required to meet performance goals.
• Develops and trains employees for increasing responsibilities, conducts periodic evaluations, and holds safety and production meetings daily. Drives initiatives of 5S, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
• Assigns personnel, oversees rotations, and maintains effective communication during shift changes and troubleshooting.
• Ensures accurate completion of paperwork related to line operation, including logs, audits, and corrective actions.
• Addresses urgent production or shipping requirements and ensures compliance with safety policies.
