Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations on the manufacturing floor, coaching staff and serving as a bridge to upper management while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will partner with plant leadership to optimize staffing, manage costs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, waste reduction, and process standardization across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 2-year associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum of two years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, motivate, mentor and train employees.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the manufacture of building products to meet production demands, while ensuring quality, safety, and productivity.
• Collaborates with plant leadership to develop staffing guidelines, optimizing resource utilization while controlling costs.
• Hires, supervises, evaluates, and replaces staff as required to meet performance goals.
• Develops and trains employees for increasing responsibilities, conducts periodic evaluations, and holds safety and production meetings daily.
• Conducts interviews and identifies qualified candidates for hire.
• Assigns personnel, oversees rotations, and maintains effective communication during shift changes and troubleshooting.
