Qualifications

• Certified welder able to read blueprints, MOPs, and follow a defined scope of work.
• 5+ years welding experience on mining equipment with understanding of structure designs and wear packages.
• Leadership and supervisor training.
• Strong understanding of OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Ability to manage profitability and material/labor utilization.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shop crew from scheduling labor/parts to disciplinary issues.
• Develop work scopes, time frames, parts, consumables and labor scheduling.
• Quote and bill all shop welding work directly to the customer.
• Collaborate with manager and accounting to maintain revenue and profitability.
• Work closely with customers to meet their needs.
• Ensure maintenance of welding equipment.
• Evaluate each completed job to ensure quality and full scope completion.
