Komatsu is seeking a highly experienced Factory Service Representative - Welding to provide onsite welding supervision and project oversight for Komatsu dealerships and customers globally. You will lead field weld repair procedures, inspections, maintenance strategies, and welding-related training, collaborating with Product Support and Engineering to enhance reliability and reduce downtime.

Qualifikationen

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Welding/Mining Engineering or equivalent welding experience.
• At least 10 years in related industry, including 5+ years in product-level welding.
• Proficiency reading blueprints and schematics; strong field welding knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Provide onsite welding supervision, technical support, and coaching to distributors and customer sites.
• Lead development of field weld repair procedures and requirements for Komatsu products and service centers.
• Apply welding engineering theory to troubleshoot and recommend actions for faulted or damaged equipment.
• Lead product issue resolution teams; coordinate parts, conduct root-cause investigations, and document findings.
