RPC Staffing in Dallas-area weld shop seeks a Quality Controller to ensure welding activities meet AWS D1.1 and project specs. You will inspect welds, verify drawings, perform NDT and maintain quality records to support safe, durable products.

The role collaborates with welders, production and engineering, reviews WPS, tracks nonconformities and assists with training while adhering to safety SOPs.

Qualifications

• Requires reading and interpreting technical drawings, BOMs, and shop details.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Experience with welding inspection and quality control is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Inspect welds visually and with MT and VT to ensure code compliance (AWS D1.1) and project specs.
• Review and approve welding procedures (WPS) and ensure on-site adherence.
• Document inspections, test reports, and quality records; maintain archives of data and metrics.
• Collaborate with welders, production, and engineering to resolve quality issues; provide training on welding practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company SOPs; conduct safety audits and calibrate inspection equipment.
