Job summary

Flexicrew Technical Services seeks a detail-oriented Welding Inspector to ensure compliance with customer specifications, welding codes, and material standards. You will oversee all inspection stages from raw materials through final shipment and maintain thorough records of inspection activities.

The role requires CWI certification, ASNT Level II UT/MT training, and strong ability to read drawings, use measuring tools, and enforce safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CWI certification required.
• ASNT SNT-TC-1A UT/MT Level II certification required.
• Eye examination for near vision acuity required.
• Color vision testing annually required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products to verify compliance with customer specs, welding codes, and material specs.
• Monitor all phases from raw materials to finished product shipments.
• Perform dimensional verification of components and configurations.
• Review fabrication plans and shop drawings for potential issues.
• Document and initiate non-conformance reports and monitor repairs.
• Witness welding and testing of Procedure and Welder Qualification tests.
• Maintain complete records of inspection activities and calibrate NDT equipment.
