Job summary

Qualifications

• NDT knowledge and inspection techniques.
• Reading engineering drawings and GD&T is essential.
• Experience in manufacturing inspection or QA is required (min 3 years).
• Familiarity with welding codes and standards (AWS, ASME, ISO).
• NDT certifications (e.g., PT, MT, UT) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality inspection processes with QA/Production managers.
• Perform detailed inspections of components, welds, and assemblies.
• Utilize VT, MT, PT, UT to evaluate material integrity.
• Conduct dimensional inspections with calipers and micrometers.
• Apply welding codes and standards to manufacturing processes.
• Document findings and generate NCRs and quality reports.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and customer requirements.
• Participate in audits and customer inspections as needed.
• Train and mentor team members on inspection best practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in QA processes.
