Job summary

The role requires strong organizational, detail-oriented mindset and excellent communication; it is a full-time, on-site position based in Indiana. You will lead daily inspections, prepare QC reports, and coordinate with production, engineers, and safety staff to maintain quality and certifications, including N Stamp and U Stamp applications.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform welding inspections per AWS standards and project requirements.
• Verify adherence to equipment, materials, welding processes, and certifications.
• Conduct daily inspections and QA testing; document results and recommend approvals.
• Prepare daily QC reports detailing activities, labor, equipment, inspection results and actions.
• Maintain QC reports, weld logs, nonconformance reports and related docs.
• Collaborate with production, engineers, and others to resolve rejected inspections.
