Job summary

American Trim, LLC on-site production weld position on 1st shift is seeking reliable team players. You will set up equipment, read blueprints, and ensure quality welds on aluminum, stainless and mild steel.

We offer day one benefits, on-the-job training, a fixed 1st shift schedule, and growth opportunities within a safety-focused environment. Candidates should have welding experience and be able to meet production rates while collaborating with tooling and quality engineers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; welding school or Hobart a plus.
• Blueprint reading with basic weld symbols.
• Oxy/acetylene welding experience.
• Experience welding aluminum, stainless steel and mild steel.
• Tig and Mig welding; stick weld experience.
• Safety-focused and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Meet established welding rates.
• Produce daily job assignment using QAD pick list.
• Set up fixtures and equipment.
• Ensure weld quality; dimensional and visual checks.
• Follow procedures (PDS) and safety analyses.
• Report downtime and scrap as needed.
• Read blueprints and specifications for welding.
• Maintain housekeeping in the work cell.
• Other duties as assigned.
