Quanex in Trumann, Arkansas is seeking a Welder - 1st Shift to join our manufacturing team. The role requires reading blueprints, fabricating and welding stainless steel and aluminum components, and moving units to designated areas while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will operate MIG welding equipment, follow ISO 9001 procedures, and work Mon-Thu 5:00am-3:30pm with Friday overtime. Ongoing training and opportunities for advancement are offered in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience welding stainless steel and/or aluminum parts.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Availability to work overtime as needed.

Responsabilités

• Read drawings to determine weld locations and placement of hinges, lock, cover and frame.
• Weld following standard procedures for steel or aluminum using MIG welding.
• Move completed units to designated areas and inspect for quality.
• Operate MIG welding machine and use hand tools as needed.
• Follow all safety rules and ISO 9001 standards.
