Job summary

Phillips Staffing seeks a Welder for a direct-hire role with full benefits at a leading manufacturing equipment supplier. You will read blueprints and drawings, set up components for welding, and weld in various positions while inspecting finished work for quality.

Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of welding experience, proficiency with TIG/MIG/STICK, and safety-conscious approach. 1st shift; $25-$30 per hour, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven welder with 1-3 years of experience.
• Experience with TIG, MIG and STICK welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Familiarity with safety standards and PPE usage.
• Certification in AWS welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and drawings to plan welding layout.
• Set up components and clamp parts for welding.
• Position parts for welding and operate equipment.
• weld components and inspect surfaces for flaws.
• Maintain welding equipment in safe condition.
