Job summary

Airgas, a leading U.S. supplier of industrial gases, is hiring a Welding Process Specialist for the Denver Metro area. You will apply welding process expertise to analyze customer needs and drive technical sales.

The role requires extensive welding experience, strong data skills in Excel/PowerPoint, and the ability to travel overnight up to 40% to customer sites. Airgas offers competitive compensation and robust benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
At least ten years welding industry experience.
Experienced with SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SAW, OFC.
Solid understanding of welding equipment, fabrication procedures and practices.
Valid State Drivers license.
Certifications: CWI, CWS, CWE, NCCER Instructor, CWEng and ASNT ACCP levels.

Responsibilities

Represents ONE AIRGAS to prospects and existing customers and matches needs with products.
Increases sales through Welding Efficiency Analysis and cost reduction.
Provides information and training on Airgas shielding gases and weld products.
Supports sales reps with customer calls and training.
Prepares reports and manages expense accounts.
Schedules time and projects with minimal supervision.
Keeps current with industry knowledge and safety procedures.
Overnight travel 30-40%.
