Job summary

Airgas, Inc. is seeking a Welding Process Specialist in Colorado to join our Denver metro area team. This role emphasizes technical applications of metal fabrication and welding processes to analyze and improve customer processes.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Engineering, has at least ten years of welding industry experience, and is proficient in SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SAW. We offer competitive pay, a bonus plan, and a $600 monthly auto allowance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Welding, Manufacturing, Automation, Fabrication, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)
At least ten years welding industry experience.
Experienced in SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SAW, OFC and PAC
Thorough understanding of most welding processes and welding equipment used in metal fabrication shops, fabrication procedures, and practices.
Experienced with manual welding techniques, mechanized equipment, fixed and Flexible welding automation, and CNC cutting systems highly preferred.
Solid understanding of electricity, electronics, control systems, and power distribution - preferred.
Thorough understanding of Ohm's law in electrical applications - preferred.
One or more of the following six Certifications - CWI (Certified Welding Inspector), CWS (Certified Welding Supervisor), CWE (Certified Welding Educator), NCCER Instructor, Core & Welding (National Center for Construction Education and Research), ASNT ACCP Level I, II or III, CWEng (Certified Welding Engineer)
Valid State Drivers license
