Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a 2nd shift associate to set up and operate resistance spot welders and power presses, ensuring metal assemblies meet quality standards. You will inspect parts, document results, and participate in continuous improvement activities in a manufacturing plant located in Northlake, TX.

The role emphasizes adherence to the Quality Policy, safety, and teamwork. Candidates should be able to stand 8–10 hours and follow work instructions in English; ESOP participation

Qualifications

• Understands and can explain the Quality Policy and how the role impacts customer satisfaction.
• Knows and can explain Quality Management System concepts and related policies/work instructions.
• Identifies quality nonconformances and participates in corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate resistance spot welders and/or power press equipment.
• Inspect parts for conformance to specifications and address non-conformances with team leads.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe, efficient workstation areas.
• Complete paperwork and track flow of product; communicate needs to team leader.
