Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing seeks a 2nd Shift Production Operator for our Northlake, TX Plant. You will set up and operate welding equipment and presses, perform quality checks, and ensure efficient production flow.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts, maintaining equipment, and completing paperwork while adhering to safety and quality standards. Eligible candidates must be 18+, capable of standing 8–10 hours, and proficient in English.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to stand for 8-10 hours a day.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to safely perform tasks and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate resistance spot welders and/or power press as required.
• Weld, trim, punch, shape, notch, draw, or crimp metal, composite, or plastic stock.
• Inspect parts for conformance to specifications and report non-conformances.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and machine housekeeping.
• Complete required paperwork and relocate materials as needed.
