Job summary

Fabcon, a leading precast concrete manufacturer, is seeking a general construction welder to join a welding crew and erect precast concrete panels. The role requires welding and labor to assemble panels on site, with a schedule from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Expect outdoor work in all weather, safety training, and opportunities to advance within a growing company. Welding certifications are preferred, and travel may be required for project sites in Wisconsin and nearby states.

Qualifications

• Welding experience required; AWS 3G and 4G welding certifications preferred.
• General knowledge of construction practices; two or more years of construction or manual labor experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and general construction labor necessary to erect precast concrete wall panels.
• Complete welding assignments safely and efficiently as part of an erection crew.
• Follow work direction provided by the detail or erection crew foreperson.
• Perform additional construction and field duties as assigned by the foreperson.
• Use materials and supplies efficiently and handle tools and equipment responsibly.
• Follow all established safety policies, procedures, and jobsite requirements.
• Maintain professional conduct and work effectively with crew members and other jobsite personnel.
