Job summary

Fabcon is seeking a Welder to join the Central Region crew. The role involves welding and general construction tasks to erect precast concrete wall panels, following directions from forepersons and maintaining safety standards.

This permanent full-time position offers union benefits, overtime opportunities, and a path for career growth within a leading precast concrete manufacturer. Expect to work 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Welding experience required; AWS 3G and 4G welding certifications preferred.
• General knowledge of construction practices; two or more years of construction or manual labor experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and general construction labor necessary to erect precast concrete wall panels.
• Complete welding assignments safely and efficiently as part of an erection crew.
• Follow work direction provided by the detail or erection crew foreperson.
• Perform additional construction and field duties as assigned by the foreperson.
• Use materials and supplies efficiently and handle tools and equipment responsibly.
• Follow all established safety policies, procedures, and jobsite requirements.
• Maintain professional conduct and work effectively with crew members and other jobsite personnel.
