Job summary

Fabcon is seeking a Welder for the Central Region to join our team. This permanent, full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, and focuses on welding and general construction tasks to erect precast concrete panels.

Expect to perform welding work safely, follow foreperson directions, and collaborate with the erection crew in an outdoor facility across six states. We offer union benefits, safety boot and eyewear reimbursement, employee referral bonuses, and overtime

Qualifications

• Welding experience required; AWS 3G/4G certifications preferred.
• General construction knowledge and labor experience recommended.
• Ability to follow instructions and work at heights when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and general construction tasks to erect precast concrete wall panels.
• Complete welding assignments safely and efficiently as part of an erection crew.
• Follow directions from the foreperson and maintain safety policies.
• Work with crew members and other personnel to complete duties on site.
