Qualifications

• Associate degree in Welding Technology, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• Minimum five years in welding and fabrication manufacturing environment.
• Experience supervising welding, machining, sheet metal fabrication, or related ops.
• Experience with high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise MIG, TIG, and structural welding operations.
• Coordinate labor assignments to meet production schedules.
• Ensure compliance with Welding Procedure Specifications and customer requirements.
• Monitor weld quality and collaborate with Quality and Engineering.
• Support welder qualification, training, and certification.
• Drive productivity, cycle-time reductions, and throughput improvements.
• Investigate welding nonconformances and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure maintenance of welding consumables, fixtures, tooling, and equipment.
• Support new product introductions and production readiness reviews.
• Promote safe welding practices and environmental/safety compliance.
