Job summary

Northeast State Community College seeks an Instructor of Welding to deliver college-level welding instruction across on-campus and off-campus sites, including dual enrollment and online formats. The role involves curriculum development, equipment management, advising, and contributing to department growth.

You will teach traditional, online, and hybrid courses, order equipment, recruit and advise for the department, and fulfill duties typical of community college faculty.

Qualifications

• AAS degree in Welding or welding certification with plan to obtain an associate degree within 3 years.
• Three years welding/metal fabrication industry experience.
• Two years of teaching or practical instruction in welding.

Responsibilities

• Teach a full range of college-level Welding classes across multiple sites.
• Order equipment and develop curriculum for Welding program.
• Recruit and advise students in the Welding department; perform faculty duties.
• Teach evening/weekend/online/hybrid courses as required.
• Collaborate with other departments and external partners to support student success.
• Maintain required records and participate in program assessment.
