Job summary

Northeastern Technical College is seeking a Welding Instructor to teach and develop materials, advise students, and support administration through committee work. The role covers classroom and lab environments with an emphasis on safety, student success, and curriculum development.

The position requires welding expertise, instructional ability, and willingness to travel to partner campuses and industry sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have Associate Degree in Welding with five years welding experience or a Diploma in Welding with eight or more years welding experience and working toward an Associate Degree.
• Proficiency in ARC, MIG, TIG, Flux Core, Pipe welding (high pressure), Gas welding and Gas and plasma cutting.
• Preferred: AWS Certified Welding Inspector and teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Present course materials through appropriate instructional strategies to facilitate learning in multi-modal and lab environments.
• Assist students in personal and professional development.
• Develop and maintain courses and curriculum with clear objectives and outlines; manage classrooms and labs with safety awareness.
