Qualifications

• One year of industrial experience in fabrication and welding.

Responsibilities

• Plan, write, and administer Fabrication and Welding curricula for in-person, online, remote, and hybrid formats.
• Create course content, develop and revise syllabi and materials.
• Establish learning outcomes, assess effectiveness, and use data for continuous improvement.
• Deliver high-quality instruction and maintain a safe, well-equipped classroom or lab.
• Provide course support: office hours, grading, timely feedback, and student coaching.
• Maintain student records, attendance, grades, and other documentation in compliance with FERPA.
• Practice proper operation, maintenance, and manual skills of a variety of welding equipment (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, PAC, OAC).
• Participate in faculty performance evaluation, collegial activities, and university meetings.
• Demonstrate commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in all teaching practices.
