Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Welding Technology or related field.
• AWS CW certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Proficiency in GTAW, GMAW, and SMAW welding processes.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Experience with stainless steel and aluminum is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding to fabricate and repair components per specs.
• Interpret blueprints and work orders to choose welding techniques.
• Inspect welds for quality using measuring instruments.
• Set up and maintain welding equipment, ensuring safety.
• Troubleshoot faulty welds or equipment and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize processes.
