Eden Capital Careers seeks a Weld Engineer in Illinois to lead and sustain welding and additive manufacturing processes, ensuring certification readiness and high-quality outputs. The role involves hands-on shop support, cross-functional collaboration, and ongoing process improvements across welding, additive deposition, and NDE activities.

You will work with quality, materials lab, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliant procedures, qualification samples, and effective problem solving.

Formación

• Experience building and maintaining a certified weld program.
• Solid understanding of physical metallurgy related to welding, metalworking and heat treatment.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Technical skills include weld engineering, metallurgy, heat treatment, mechanical testing, microstructural interpretation, failure analysis, NDE, and industry standards.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and own the welding program (AWS, ASME and others). Collaborate with quality to enhance certification.
• Provide on-the-floor support to welders and engineering team in welding and additive processes.
• Work with NDT team on weld inspection program development and sustainment.
• Create and implement manufacturing procedures for welding and additive manufacturing.
