Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Weld Engineer to develop and sustain welding and additive manufacturing processes (AWS/ASME).

The role blends hands-on shop support with project leadership in qualifications and technology advancement. You will collaborate with quality, materials lab, and cross-functional teams to write procedures, qualify welds, perform failure analysis, and serve as a SME in welding and DED processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Weld Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or Material Science (emphasis on weld processes) desired but will consider comparable industry experience.
• Minimum 1–3 years’ experience as a weld engineer or applicable additive manufacturing research.
• Experience building and maintaining a certified weld program.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the welding program (AWS, ASME and others). Collaborate with quality for certification enhancements.
• Provide on-the-floor support to welders and engineering team in welding and additive processes.
• Collaborate with NDE team for weld inspection program development and sustainment.
• Write and ensure effective execution of manufacturing procedures including welding and additive manufacturing procedures.
