Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in North Little Rock, AR is seeking a Welder Apprentice for the 3rd shift (11 p.m. – 7 a.m.). You will learn MIG, TIG, and other welding processes and progress through qualification tests after a 6-week weld school plus 3 weeks of on-the-job training.

Starting wage is $21.75/hour with shift differential, plus Day One benefits and a comprehensive rewards package including medical, dental, vision, RX and 401(k). Overtime may be available based on demand.

Qualifications

• Welding training from a technical or trade school.
• Ability to pass welding qualification tests after 6-week school and 3 weeks OJT.
• Willing to work on 3rd shift and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Weld using MIG/GMAW, TIG, and related processes.
• Read blueprints and work instructions.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE protocols.
• Support production with on-time builds.
