Job summary

Caterpillar North Little Rock is seeking a Welder Apprentice for the 3rd shift (11 p.m. – 7 a.m.). Starting wage is $21.75/hour with shift differential.

You will weld using MIG and TIG processes, read blueprints, and follow safety standards. Training includes 6 weeks in Weld School and 3 weeks of on‑the‑job training to build essential shop skills. Openings favor candidates with basic welding exposure, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of welding fundamentals.
• Willingness to train in Weld School and OJT.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow standard work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG/MAG welding in 1G/2G and 1F/2F positions.
• Operate GTAW and stud welding as needed at select stations.
• Adhere to safety rules and wear required PPE.
