Caterpillar North Little Rock is seeking a Welder Apprentice for the 3rd shift (11 p.m. – 7 a.m.). Starting wage is $21.75/hour with shift differential.
You will weld using MIG and TIG processes, read blueprints, and follow safety standards. Training includes 6 weeks in Weld School and 3 weeks of on‑the‑job training to build essential shop skills. Openings favor candidates with basic welding exposure, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work overtime when needed.

Caterpillar – North Little Rock utilizes a variety of welding processes within the facility. We have 15 robotic welding cells and over 30 different weld stations to complete daily builds. As a fabricator the main welding process is 0.052” GMAW (MIG) in the 1G/2G & 1F/2F positions. In addition, GTAW (TIG) and Stud Welding are utilized in some weld stations.
Position includes a wage of $21.75/hour + Shift Differential and a comprehensive benefit program. Openings available on 3rd shift: Monday – Friday 11 p.m. - 7 a.m. Overtime opportunities may be available on a voluntary basis based on business needs and with leader prior authorization.
Overtime is available, based on business need. You’ll have the opportunity for pay increases annually based on performance. Day One Benefits!
