Job summary

Caterpillar North Little Rock is hiring a Welder Apprentice for the 2nd shift. Expect 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. with a starting wage of $21.75/hour plus shift differential; comprehensive Day One benefits offered. Training spans 6 weeks over Weld School plus 3 weeks OJT.

Candidates should have basic welding knowledge, the ability to read blueprints and pass MIG/TIG qualification tests. Overtime may be available based on production needs.

Qualifications

• Basic welding knowledge and willingness to train in multiple welding processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow standard work instructions.
• Overtime flexibility to support production demands.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG and gouging processes on second shift.
• Complete qualification tests after weld school and on‑the‑job training.
• Adhere to safety rules and wear required PPE during all operations.
