Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions LLC in Topeka, Kansas is seeking a Welder to contribute to infrastructure projects, including drainage systems, pipes, bridges and stormwater management. You will read blueprints and welding procedures and perform MIG and Stick welds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with MIG and Stick welding.
• Technical training or welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding procedures.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures to ensure accurate welding.
• Use template, pattern, scribe, etc. to mark and lay out material.
• Align and assemble product for welding using crane, lever hoist, chains, etc.
• Use cutting or plasma torch to burn to precision layout.
• Adhere to safety protocols to create a secure work environment.

• Technical training or welding experience strongly preferred.
