Contech in Alexandria, MN is seeking a Welder to contribute to infrastructure projects including drainage systems, pipe, bridges, and stormwater management. This full-time role focuses on fabricating and assembling components to precise specifications.

Qualifications

• Mark and lay out material using templates, patterns, and measuring tools.
• Align and assemble product for welding using crane, hoist, and other equipment.
• Use cutting or plasma torch to achieve precise layouts and dimensions.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures to ensure accurate welding.
• Uses template, pattern, scribe, etc. to mark and lay out material.
• Aligns and assembles product for welding using crane, lever hoist ,chains, etc.
• Uses cutting or plasma torch to burn to precision layout.
• Adheres to safety protocols to create a secure work environment.

About You

We Require:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG, and Stick welding.
• Technical training or welding experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work with precision instruments.
