Zusammenfassung

Fabcon is seeking a Welder for the Central Region to join our team. This permanent, full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, and focuses on welding and general construction tasks to erect precast concrete panels.

Expect to perform welding work safely, follow foreperson directions, and collaborate with the erection crew in an outdoor facility across six states. We offer union benefits, safety boot and eyewear reimbursement, employee referral bonuses, and overtime

Qualifikationen

• Welding experience required; AWS 3G/4G certifications preferred.
• General construction knowledge and labor experience recommended.
• Ability to follow instructions and work at heights when required.

Salary Range: $27 - $51/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding and general construction labor necessary to erect precast concrete wall panels.


• Complete welding assignments safely and efficiently as part of an erection crew.


• Follow work direction provided by the detail or erection crew foreperson.


• Perform additional construction and field duties as assigned by the foreperson.


• Use materials and supplies efficiently and handle tools and equipment responsibly.


• Follow all established safety policies, procedures, and jobsite requirements.


• Maintain professional conduct and work effectively with crew members and other jobsite personnel.

Requirements

• Welding experience required; AWS 3G and 4G welding certifications preferred.


• General knowledge of construction practices; two or more years of construction or manual labor experience preferred.


• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


• Ability to carry out simple and complex verbal instructions.


• Ability to safely work at heights, including from ladders and aerial work platforms.


• Ability to obtain membership in a local union.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.


• Ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel 50% or more of the time, and work overtime as required.


• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions


• Ability to work well with others and maintain professional conduct.


• Ability to work overtime when required.
