Job summary

Fabcon in the United States seeks a Welder – Central Region to join a welding crew and erect precast concrete wall panels. The position is permanent/full time, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Ideal candidates have welding experience, AWS 3G/4G certifications if possible, and at least two years in construction. Expect union benefits, overtime opportunities, and travel requirements as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Welding experience required; AWS 3G/4G certifications preferred.
• Two or more years of construction or manual labor experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain membership in a local union.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and general construction labor to erect precast concrete wall panels.
• Complete welding assignments safely and efficiently as part of an erection crew.
• Follow work direction provided by the detail or erection crew foreperson.
• Perform additional construction and field duties as assigned by the foreperson.
• Use materials and supplies efficiently and handle tools and equipment responsibly.
• Follow all established safety policies, procedures, and jobsite requirements.
• Maintain professional conduct and work effectively with crew members and other jobsite personnel.
