Job summary

ABW Technologies, Inc. in Arlington, WA is seeking Welders (aluminum and stainless TIG) to join a team producing quality fabricated parts for aerospace, defense, and energy sectors.

This night shift offers four 10-hour shifts, overtime as needed, on-site training, competitive benefits, and a path from Welder I to Welder IV based on skill and test results.

Qualifications

  • Must read and understand shop drawings.
  • Experience welding aluminum and stainless steel using TIG.
  • Ability to maintain quality with inspection standards.

Responsibilities

  • Fit and weld components per weld procedures.
  • Read tolerances and drawings and weld accordingly.
  • Be evaluated via in-house testing and CWIs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Work on night shift and overtime as needed.

Production Craftsman Arlington, WA, US

Salary Range: $30.00 To $49.00 Hourly

ABW is looking for welders who are motivated and take pride in producing quality fabricated parts and meeting or exceeding customer requirements and schedules.

Seeking skill levels ranging from beginner to intermediate up to experienced aluminum and stainless steel TIG Fitter/Welders, who are motivated and take pride in producing quality fabricated parts and meeting or exceeding customer requirements and schedules.

On-site training is available for growth of skills.

Pay rates range across ABWs Welder I to Welder IV categories. Pay rates are based on the number of welding processes and qualified positions that welders are certified for and dependent upon weld test results and ability at time of interview.

Welder candidates must be able to read and understand shop drawings. They will be required to fit and weld components in accordance with weld procedures accounting for weld shrinkage with minimal supervision. All fit-ups and welds are inspected by in-house and/or customer CWIs. ABW administers in-house testing and certification. In addition to welder qualification testing, Welders will be evaluated on their ability to read and understand drawings, tolerances, and welding procedures. ASME pressure vessel / tank manufacturing experience preferred, familiarity with nozzle schedules, weld maps, flux core and submerged arc experience is beneficial.

Benefits include health, dental, vision and voluntary benefits. 2 weeks of PTO per year to start.

Night shift: Work four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:45 pm -6:15 am. Overtime as required.
