Job summary

ABW Technologies, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Quality Control Inspector II who is NDT Level II certified. The role requires proficiency with CMM/Romer arms, performing inspections at various production stages, and maintaining meticulous records.

Candidates should be capable of interpreting drawings and supporting continuous quality improvements. This full-time position is based in Arlington, WA, with a competitive hourly rate and a $1,000 hiring bonus after 120 days of satisfactory

Qualifications

• NDT Level II certification in MT/PT/UT/MSLT or AWS CWI required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and travelers.
• Experience performing non-destructive tests and quality inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate CMM/Romer arms for automated quality inspections.
• Inspect/test products per QC/QA manuals and drawings at production stages.
• Record inspection data and generate deviation reports.
• Interpret engineering drawings or schematics and consult with engineering.
• Suggest updates to manuals or procedures to improve quality.
• Perform nondestructive tests on materials and parts as required.
• Stand ready to work overtime when needed.

Salary Range: $34.00 To $40.00 Hourly

Hiring Bonus: $1000 after successful completion of 120 days and an acceptable attendance record

ABW has an immediate opening for an NDE Level II currently certified in accordance with SNT-TC-1A in one or more of the following methods. in MT, PT, UT, MSLT, or AWS CWI. This is a full time position at our fabrication facility in Arlington, Washington. The essential functions of the job are as follows.

• Proficient in operating coordinate measuring machines (CMM) / Romer arms for automated quality inspections
• Performs inspections and tests per QC Manual, QA Manual, procedures, instructions, drawings, and travelers at specified stages in production process
• Inspects and/or tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics
• Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality of products or materials
• Records inspection and test data
• Evaluates inspection and/or test data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing manuals, procedures, instructions, drawings, or travelers
• Recommends modifications of existing quality or production manuals, procedures, instructions, drawings, or travelers to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability
• Sets up and performs nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance or material characteristics, as applicabl
• Must have proof of classroom and OJT hours for NDT certifications.
• Must be willing to work Over time as needed
• Must be able to multitask and work in a high pace environment.
• Willingness to grow and achieve additional certifications / training as needed.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong ethical standards with a desire to maintain a high level of quality.
