Job summary

McWane Plant & Industrial is seeking a Welder I on the 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 12:30 AM) to join our fabrication and machining operations. The role involves laying out and welding parts to specifications, ensuring compliance with standards and safety requirements.

The position requires at least one year of welding experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work safely with a range of tools and PPE.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one (1) year of welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Weld in multiple positions (Flat, Horizontal, Vertical and Overhead).
• Follow templates and layout specifications for welds.
• Ensure welds meet company and government standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Use various tools and equipment safely and proficiently.
• Adhere to safety rules, PPE, and job site procedures.
• Operate forklifts and obtain certification if required.
• Work overtime and extended hours as needed.
