Job summary

McWane Plant & Industrial is seeking an experienced Welder I to join our Job Shop Fabrication and Machining operation. TheWelder I will layout and weld parts using templates and layout specifications, ensuring welds meet all company and government standards.

Position requires welding in multiple positions and adherence to safety protocols, PPE usage, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Starting rate is $26.08/hr with a 24-month wage progression.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one (1) year of welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Layout and weld parts according to templates and layout specifications.
• Weld in multiple positions (Flat, Horizontal, Vertical and Overhead).
• Ensure welds conform to company and government standards.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and follow safety rules.
