Henderson Products, Inc. in Huntley, IL is seeking an Installation Technician to join our heavy bay team. You will perform MIG welding, fabrication, and assembly for up-fit and installation on heavy-duty trucks, with focus on precise installations and repairs.

You will read schematics and blueprints, perform shop math, and work with wiring, hydraulics, and electrical systems as needed. Team collaboration is essential to meet safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic shop math and ability to interpret instructions, diagrams and blueprints.
• Hand dexterity and working knowledge of hand tools.
• Must be willing to work in a team environment.
• Experience in manufacturing setting desirable, with weld and assembly familiarity.
• Technical degree or certifications in welding/electrical/hydraulics are helpful but not required.

Join Henderson Products Inc., located at 11921 Smith Dr, Huntley, IL! We are the North American leader in the design, manufacture and up fit of multi-purpose equipment for heavy-duty work trucks specializing in snow and ice control and “Keeping America’s Roads Safe!”

Day Shift Hours! Monday - Friday: 5:30AM to 4:00PM

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

As an Installation Technician in our heavy bay, you will have a variety of responsibilities including MIG welding, fabrication, and some assembly work in the up-fit and installation of equipment on heavy-duty work truck builds. The role also involves diagnostic and repair work. You will need to read schematics, diagrams, blueprints, perform shop math, experience in MIG Welding, and ensure accurate installations and repairs. Knowledge of wiring and electrical systems and/or hydraulics is a plus.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS (preferred)

• Basic shop math & ability to interpret work instructions, diagrams & blueprints
• Hand dexterity and working knowledge of hand tools
• Must be willing to work in a team environment
• Previous experience in manufacturing setting
• Familiarity with weld, assembly processes
• Technical degree helpful and/or specialty certifications (i.e., welding, electrical, hydraulics), not required
