Job summary

Henderson Products Inc. is seeking an Installation Technician for the night shift in Huntley, IL. You will perform MIG welding, fabrication, and assembly for up-fit of heavy-duty truck equipment, including diagnostics and repairs. Reading schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams is essential.

The role requires teamwork, basic shop math, and familiarity with welding and hydraulics; a technical degree is helpful but not required. Excellent benefits and night-shift differential offered.

NIGHT SHIFT - 4:00PM to 2:00AM - Monday through Friday

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

As an Installation Technician in our heavy bay, you will have a variety of responsibilities including MIG welding, fabrication, and some assembly work in the up-fit and installation of equipment on heavy-duty work truck builds.

The role also involves diagnostic and repair work. You will need to read schematics, diagrams, blueprints, perform shop math, experience in MIG Welding, and ensure accurate installations and repairs. Knowledge of wiring and electrical systems and/or hydraulics is a plus.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS (preferred):

• Basic shop math & ability to interpret work instructions, diagrams & blueprints
• Hand dexterity and working knowledge of hand tools
• Must be willing to work in a team environment
• Previous experience in manufacturing setting
• Familiarity with weld, assembly processes
• Technical degree helpful and/or specialty certifications (i.e., welding, electrical, hydraulics), not required

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, lifting, and standing
• Exposure to noise and weld and grinding smoke at times
