Job summary

Henderson Products, Inc. in Bucyrus, OH is seeking an Installation Technician to join their team. You will be responsible for MIG welding, fabrication, and the installation of equipment onto heavy-duty work trucks. This role requires skills in diagnostics and repairs along with reading schematics and ensuring accurate installations.

The position offers a day shift from Monday to Friday, flexibility, and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off and quarterly incentive bonuses. Ideal candidates will have a background in manufacturing and good hand dexterity.

Qualifications

Day Shift Hours! Monday – Friday, 5:30am to 4:00pm.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

As an Installation Technician in our heavy bay, you will have a variety of responsibilities including MIG welding, fabrication, and some assembly work in the up‑fit and installation of equipment on heavy‑duty truck builds. The role also involves diagnostic and repair work. You will need to read schematics, diagrams, blueprints, perform shop math, experience in MIG welding, and ensure accurate installations and repairs. Knowledge of wiring and electrical systems and/or hydraulics is a plus.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS (preferred)

• Basic shop math & ability to interpret work instructions, diagrams & blueprints
• Hand dexterity and working knowledge of hand tools
• Must be willing to work in a team environment
• Previous experience in manufacturing setting
• Familiarity with weld, assembly processes
• Technical degree helpful and/or specialty certifications (i.e., welding, electrical, hydraulics), not required

Working Conditions

• Exposure to noise and weld and grinding smoke at times
