Henderson Products Inc. in Kenvil, NJ, is seeking an Installation Technician for our heavy bay. The role focuses on MIG welding, fabrication and assembly for up-fitting equipment on heavy-duty trucks, plus diagnostic and repair work.

Applicants should read schematics/blueprints, perform shop calculations, and bring MIG welding experience. Familiarity with wiring, hydraulics, or electrical systems is a plus. Team-oriented environment with day shifts.

Qualifications

• Basic shop math and ability to interpret work instructions, diagrams & blueprints.
• Hand dexterity and working knowledge of hand tools.
• Must be willing to work in a team environment.
• Previous experience in manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with weld, assembly processes.
• Technical degree helpful and/or specialty certifications, not required.

Responsibilities

Day Shift Hours! Monday – Friday: 6:00AM to 4:30PM

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

As an Installation Technician in our heavy bay, you will have a variety of responsibilities including MIG welding, fabrication, and some assembly work in the up-fit and installation of equipment on heavy-duty work truck builds. The role also involves diagnostic and repair work. You will need to read schematics, diagrams, blueprints, perform shop math, experience in MIG Welding, and ensure accurate installations and repairs. Knowledge of wiring and electrical systems and/or hydraulics is a plus.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS (preferred)

• Basic shop math & ability to interpret work instructions, diagrams & blueprints

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS (required)

• Must be able to successfully pass a weld test for uphill and vertical welding.
