Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Welder/Fabricator for the 3rd shift in Sharonville, OH. You will perform SAW, MIG, and Stick welding on heavy components, reading blueprints and weld symbols, and setting up parts with clamps and fixtures.

The role requires 2+ years of industrial welding/fabrication, a certified welder or eligible to qualify, and familiarity with ISO 9001/14001, 5S, and ERP systems. Night shift reliability and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• SAW welding experience in heavy fabrication
• Certified welder or ability to qualify for welding certifications
• Ability to read blueprints, fabrication drawings, weld procedures, and AWS symbols
• Experience with fit-up, part setup, measuring tools, clamps, jigs, fixtures, positioners
• Willingness to work night shift in a safe, reliable, team-oriented environment
• 2+ years of industrial welding/fabrication with MIG and Stick welding preferred
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001, 5S, root-cause solving, or ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform submerged arc (SAW), MIG, and Stick welding on heavy industrial components per procedures and AWS standards
• Set up and secure pre-fitted parts using clamps, jigs, fixtures, positioners, and hand tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions
• Inspect completed welds and verify dimensions; maintain stock allowances
• Maintain preheat/post-heat conditions, follow 5S and safety practices, support quality improvement

Pay: $25-$28/hr

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience performing submerged arc welding (SAW) in an industrial or heavy fabrication environment.
• Certified welder or ability to successfully qualify and maintain required welding certifications.
• Ability to read blueprints, fabrication drawings, weld procedures, and AWS welding symbols.
• Experience with fit-up, part setup, measuring tools, clamps, jigs, fixtures, positioners, and standard hand tools.
• Willingness to work a designated night shift in a safe, reliable, and team-oriented environment.
• Two or more years of industrial welding or fabrication experience, with MIG and Stick welding experience preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001 standards, 5S practices, root-cause problem solving, or manufacturing ERP systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics 365) is a plus
