Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team on the third shift. This role focuses on MIG and TIG welding and related fabrication while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints and weld symbols, setting up equipment, preparing materials, inspecting welds for strength, and collaborating with teammates to meet production goals on a night shift schedule (9:30 PM–6:00 AM).

Job Duties

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and other metals


• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions


• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate wire, electrodes, and gases


• Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces


• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and strength


• Follow production and safety procedures


• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals

Qualifications

• Previous welding experience or applicable welding education/training required


• Experience with MIG, TIG, or other welding processes


• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols


• Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
