We are growing and in need of a Welder/Fabricator for our VSS Macropaver location in Hickman, CA.

Responsibilities include:

1. The ability to operate a welder, cut and braze metal pieces using flame-cutting and hand welding equipment.
2. Review blueprints or plans for finished products.
3. Fit up and tack weld weldments.
4. Make jigs or fixtures for higher quantity orders.
5. Check dimensions of assemblies or parts, overall quality, appearance, and soundness of welds.
6. Ensure the quality of projects overseen.
7. Ability to TIG, MIG, Stick, flux core Steel, Stainless, and Aluminum.
8. Maintain premises and equipment to high standards.
9. Follow PPE, safety, and company rules.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements:

1. 1 year of manufacturing experience (preferred).
2. Thorough understanding of welding machines/tools, their design, use, maintenance, and repair.
3. Basic understanding of design techniques (plans, drawings, blueprints).
4. Ability to read and interpret assignments accurately.
5. Basic math skills related to welding tasks.
