Aerotek is seeking an experienced Welder for a contract-based role in Upper Sandusky, OH. The position focuses on assembling and installing carbon and stainless steel piping systems, performing TIG welding and finishing work on pipe sections, with strict adherence to blueprints and safety procedures.

This role focuses on assembling and installing carbon and stainless steel piping systems ranging from 1 inch to 30 inches in diameter. You cut, bevel, and clamp pipe, join pipes, valves, and fittings according to blueprints, and perform grinding and general site tasks, including cleanup, to support a large construction project.
ResponsibilitiesYou join a project offering consistent full-time hours with the opportunity to work extended weeks, providing strong earning potential for qualified welders. The role includes per diem support for each day of the week, helping to offset travel and living expenses while on the job. Work EnvironmentThis position is based on a construction project in Upper Sandusky, working on industrial piping installations. You work on site in a field construction environment, which involves exposure to outdoor conditions, active equipment, and ongoing building activities. The schedule can include long hours and extended workweeks to meet project milestones. You use your own welding gear and tools and operate equipment such as grinders and pipe-fitting tools in accordance with site safety standards. The environment requires appropriate work attire suitable for a construction site, including protective clothing and personal protective equipment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $38.00/hr.
