Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to support fabrication and assembly of metal components and welded structures in our on-site facility in El Cajon, CA. The role requires TIG and MIG welding, blueprint reading, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Shifts include 1st and 2nd, with hours from 6:00am–4:30pm or 4:00pm–2:30am, Monday through Thursday. The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits including health coverage, 401(k) with match, PTO, paid holidays, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment or completion of a recognized welding trade school.
• Experience with TIG and MIG welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience assisting with fabrication and assembly of components from engineering specifications.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools, including grinders and measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and apply basic blueprints and work instructions.
• Fit, assemble, and weld components according to specifications.
• Assist Journeyman Welders with fabrication and assembly projects.
• Perform TIG and MIG welding on various materials and assemblies.
• Use fixtures, jigs, and measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
• Operate hand grinders and other fabrication tools to finish welded parts.
• Perform quality checks to verify weld integrity and dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow procedures.
• Support fabrication activities as directed by supervisors or lead personnel.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Welder / Fitter to support the fabrication and assembly of metal components and welded structures. This role requires experience with TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding processes, the ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Hours: 1st shift and 2nd shift available

1st Shift – Monday – Thursday (6:00am – 4:30pm)

2nd Shift – Monday – Thursday (4:00pm – 2:30am)

Days: Monday-Friday

Job Requirements:
