  • Inspect weld beads for size and specifications; grind or trim excess as needed.
  • Follow production schedules and maintain safety and quality standards.

Job Description:Job Summary:The welder position will have expertise in MIG Welding techniques, by focusing on the assembly of components, parts, and structures as specified by prints, layouts and/or jigs and fixtures.Hourly Rate: $26.50 - $28.88 (Based on experience)Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Positions parts in jigs or fixtures on bench or floor, or clamps parts together along layout marks.Lays out, positions, and tack welds work pieces.MIG Welds along vertical, horizontal, and overhead weld lines.Connects regulator valves to oxygen and fuel gas cylinders for cutting torch. Turns regulator valves to activate flow of gases, lights torch and adjusts gas mixture and pressure to obtain desired flame.
